To dial a number from Teams, find Calls , select Dial a number, and then specify your target number of people to reach by employing the dial pad. Then, press Call .
Important: You won’t be able to make a 911 emergency call if Teams isn’t connected to the internet.
Note: If you don’t notice the option to dial a number, your organisation may not have purchased a calling plan. But you can still make calls to other people in Teams.
Here are some other means to make a call:
- If the person you want to reach is in your contacts list, pick Contacts, locate the person you want to call, and then press Call .
- If you’ve called people before (or if they’ve called you), they’ll be in your call history. In History, choose More actions to the right of the person’s name, then press Call back.
- You can even reach your voicemail and call people from that list. In Voicemail, click More actions to the right of the person’s name, then choose Call back.
To enter your dial pad during a call, navigate to your call controls and press Keypad .
