Check spelling as you type
OneNote for Windows 10 intuitively detects and flags any potential spelling errors with a red squiggly line:
Right-click the underlined word and, from the proofing options, select a suggested word, insert your word to the dictionary, or dismiss the error.
If you opt for hiding spelling errors while you work, pick Settings > Options > Proofing and alter the toggle to hide the spelling errors.
Check spelling in another language
If you make notes that include text in different languages, you can now check the spelling in each of the languages. Right-click the chosen text, and click Set Language to verify the language to use once you check spelling on your specified text.
Note: If you the haven’t already got proofing tools installed, you might receive an alert the first time you pick a language. Follow the message prompts in the message to create the language.
