Applies to: Microsoft Teams.
There are two ways to upload files to Teams. When you upload a file, you can even share a link to it. Effectively, you don’t have to upload several copies of the same file to share it in various locations.
Share a file in a one-on-one or group chat
Pick Choose file under the box where you enter a message. This will upload a copy of your first file. You can even upload a file by selecting the Files tab of a chat and click Share.
You’ll be able to reach files from your computer, OneDrive for Business account, and any third-party cloud storage you or your admin have applied to Teams.
Share a file with your team in a channel
Choose file below the box where you state your message in a channel, or find the Files tab and press Upload.
