Reading Team News
The News tab showcases the most recent articles from your sites you’re following and frequently visit along with article suggestions.
On sites with a News web part, you will observe the 4 most recent news posts. Press See all to check all the news posts published in this site.
News posts are formatted to present appealingly on mobile devices. Once you select a news headline from the Sites tab or the News tab, you’ll view the entire article complete with web parts, with images and embedded documents.
Add a News Post
When you see News on a site you own, select See all to add news.
- On the News page, press + Add to begin composing your post.
- Start with inserting a headline, then select to add text, images and documents.
- After you have several items in a post, you can reorder them before publishing. Tap, hold and drag an item to shift items up or down on the page.
- Once you are finished producing your page, press Publish at the top right, and the post will emerge in the News section.
Managing Team News is now accessible in SharePoint Online on the web only. The SharePoint mobile app allows adding a News post in SharePoint Online. For more information about editing or removing a News post on the web, see Keep your team updated with News on your team site.
