Using Markdown gives you a live preview of your styled text within your compose box as you write, and you can even undo your formatting by pressing Ctrl+Z. As well as this, many of these actions are still found if you maximise your compose box (everything except block quotes and strikethrough will still have its own button).

Use Markdown to share code
You can structure and share your code on Teams.
- To append an inline block of code, start and end the text with a back tick (` ), which is located next to the 1 on your keyboard.
- To apply a multi-line block of code, preface your text with “` and then paste it into your compose box.
You’ll receive a live preview of your code, and you can undo any formatting by tapping Ctrl+Z.
